This is awesome! Kawasaki Ninja H2R reaches 331 km / h in street circuit. Since the launch of the new Kawasaki Ninja H2R, in October last year, a lot of expectation around the motorcycle equipped with a 998 cc engine four-cylinder was generated, liquid-cooled, with mechanical compressor (supercharger). And it was no wonder, since the "hiperesportiva" Japanese delivering 300 horsepower in the R version - more than a World MotoGP prototype.
The manufacturer did not disclose more specific technical data of the model as acceleration times and maximum speed, but that was no problem for the rider James Hillier, who managed to reach the incredible speed of 331 km / h with a Kawasaki Ninja H2R in Island Man.
During a sort of "return demonstration," Hillier picked up the bike supercharged to 331 km / h, setting a new speed record for the fastest bike on a closed public road. In fact, if you look at the video more closely at about 20 seconds, you may notice the speedometer showing more than 210 mph (337 km / h), which means that the actual rate may be even higher.
"It was insane, just insane," said Hillier. "The first four marches go very fast, like a flash, and the acceleration is a crazy thing," the pilot.
