New AUDI Car 2016. As was announced last week, Audi presents on Monday (29) the new generation of the A4 in Germany. Revealed in sedan and station wagon versions (both with simultaneous arrival on the market), the model incorporates the developments brought about by recent launches such as the Q7 and the TT, and promises energy efficiency up to 21% higher than the current line levels. The brand claims to be a reference in the category, but competition consists of Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3 Series and Jaguar XE should not give truce.
According to Audi, the new Audi A4 is the most economical, safe and technological produced today. In addition, the drag coefficient of only 0.23 is announced as the best among the average luxury sedans. Despite the efficiency, the dimensions have grown: now are 4.72 meters long (4.70 against the current) and 2.82 meters of wheelbase (at 2.80 meters). The width also increased by 2 cm (total of 1.84 meters), but the height was maintained at 1.42 meters. In the trunk the sedan takes 480 liters and the van 505 l.
The interior follows the external news, with many advances in comparison to the current cabin. Right away, technological highlight is fully digital instrument board similar to the new TT, with 12.3-inch screen. On top of the panel to 8-inch screen home entertainment system, operated via a rotary controller positioned ahead of the gear lever. Surfaces coated in leather and aluminum details also draw attention.
The adoption of the MLB Evo platform possible weight reduction of 120 kilograms, with direct consequences on the dynamics and performance. Under the hood, range will consist of four- and six-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines. The starting propellant is a 1.4 TFSI 150 hp, followed by a 2.0 TFSI (190 or 252 hp), a 2.0 TDI diesel (150 or 190 hp) and 3.0 TDI (218 or 272 hp). Furthermore, the Avant body will have a g-tron variant with 2.0 TFSI engine 170 hp powered by compressed natural gas.
The exchange standard is a six-speed manual transmission, newly developed and about 16 kg lighter than the previous transmission. Optionally is offered the S-Tronic seven-speed exchange, replacing the current CVT. The 3.0 TDI model, however, has exclusive rights to use the eight-speed automatic transmission, which has also undergone a number of revisions. Traction is front with the quattro system being offered as an option.
Replacement of the 1.8 TFSI engine used today, the block 1.4 TFSI promises acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.9 seconds, consumption of 20.4 km / l (21% more efficiency). Since the propellant 2.0 TFSI, Audi treated as "revolutionary", ensures acceleration in 7.3 seconds, consumption of 20.8 km / l. In both cases the figures take into account the versions equipped with S-Tronic exchange and front wheel drive. Source; carplace.uol.com.br
