Audi confirms A3 national Sedan in September with 1.4-liter flex 150 cv19 . Domestic production of the A3 Sedan has just been confirmed by Audi and the novelty of the debut on the market has also been defined.
According to the brand, the three German volumes begins production in September bringing under the hood the 1.4 TFSI flex with power of 150 horses. Production will be concentrated in Pinhais plant (PR), where also will challenge the version of the VW Golf with this same choice of engine.
According to Audi, the level of quality and equipment will follow the same pattern found today in the imported model in Europe. The production follows international standards assembly applied to all manufacturer's factories worldwide, including plants in Hungary, Spain and Slovakia. The assembly line is in the final stage of implementation and technical came from Germany especially to authorize the start of production of pre-series units.
The plant has annual production capacity of 26,000 copies, 16,000 of A3 Sedan and 10,000 SUV Q3, which will be nationalized in the coming year. As operations begin only in September this year will be made only 1,500 units of the sedan, always with motor flex 1.4 - version 1.8 is still imported from Hungary.
