In 2013, Honda created a stir by launching on the market a UFO name of MSX 125 (Street Mini X-Treme). Also known as Groom in Japan and the US, the spiritual son of Monkey and Dax aimed to attract urban youth. A goal that seems to have been reached since three years, the small Japanese 125 has sold over 250,000 copies worldwide. A great success which leads today the manufacturer to review its evolution with a big aesthetically.

What's up Doc ?

Still made in Thailand, MSX has been extensively redesigned although it still retains the slurry that has contributed to its success. The major aesthetic changes concern the tank and side panels with more incisive lines. A design that also applies to the rear fender and the new saddle now "double floor". The 125 gives in to turn the sirens of LED lighting with the installation of LEDs in the front and rear.

The old version of MSX

Exhaust side, a short silent placed in the lower position replaces the previous model without compromising power in medium and high speeds. The short silent is now installed in the down position. That's all for this new 2016 model akin therefore mainly an aesthetic rejuvenation. Technically, there are in fact the same elements as the original model launched in 2013 starting with 4 stroke that always delivers a power of 9.6 horsepower and a torque of 10.9 Nm.
